I grew up in Rushford, MN, and earned my degree from Mankato State University. My father, Don, was an electrician, while my mother, Melissa, works at Winona State University. Our family has always shared a love for sports - cheering on the Vikings, Timberwolves, Twins, and Gophers - and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing! I now live in the Byron area, with my wonderful wife, and we enjoy walks with our two-year-old golden retriever.

My passion for helping others began early, growing up in a small business family where I saw firsthand the importance of relationships, and community support. My journey into insurance started when I was approached by an agent during college to work a summer job in the industry. From that experience on, I knew there was nothing else I’d rather do. Today, I take pride in putting myself in my customers’ shoes and helping them make informed decisions - always starting with what’s important for them, even if it means thinking beyond what I’d do for myself.
